In then chopped this technique back to my Scrapbook theme and it works there also. I found that this gave me the level of control I was after, as this audio track can 'override' the HD movie clips in the timeline (you get slider control that allows you to 'reduce the volume of the main track' in this case the software interprets the main track as the volume of the HD movie clips within the timeline. To do this, drag the audio track to a mid point in a photo or movie clip in your time line - it then will appear as a thin audio track beneath your timeline, rather than the main audio 'behind' the timeline: When dragging my selected music track to the mix of photos and HD movie clips in the timeline - I inadvertently set my music track as the secondary track(B beneath), rather than the 'main theme' track (A beneath). Today I set up a classic slideshow and may have stumbled on the solution, at least a part solution. Came across your thread having same problem with the Scrapbook theme.
